Plan program for detailed regulation of the Åremmen slate quarry

In accordance with § 4-1 of the Planning and Building Act, a planning program has been drawn up in connection with the start of regulatory work for the start of shale mining in Åremmen on the above property.

The plan area is shown in the sketch above and includes the following areas within property 108/2; an area of ​​163 daa for extraction / quarrying (brown), 16 daa for vegetation screen (dark green) and 311 daa re-regulated from LNF Zone 2 to LNF (light green). In addition, there is planned regulation of Åremsveien for road purposes for the outlet (yellow line).

The purpose of the planning work is to facilitate the start of shale mining in Åremmen with the start-up of local activities and processing of natural stone. This will create local jobs.
